Despite some drawbacks, this bar of soap works for us. We own a couple of vacation rentals and the we must have minimum order of $2,000 to get our preferred soap. So we purchased this one to hold us over until we have a large enough order. We go through bar soap faster than any other toiletry item. The bar is not close to the advertised 1.5 oz; it is closer to 1 oz; however it is large enough to use as a body soap for the shower or tub. The bar is imprinted with the word "Dial" on it. I'm not a soap expert and I do not know if it really is made by dial, but it gives a perceived comfort being marked this way. This is probably my major drawback, but if you have a cleaning crew, it would be their issue. The used bar sticks to the shower shelf pretty well and kinda flakes off leaving a smaller residual piece stuck on to the shelf. Therefore it is a bit harder to clean, as it doesn't just lift right off like most other soap. If you are cleaning your own bathrooms, it may not be worth it to you. Overall, I recommend it, because it is the cheapest bar that we could find by far (aside from our commercial supplier) that fits the bill. It's large enough, "branded", and it doesn't feel like cheap motel soap. It is good enough and the price is great!
