I read all the reviews for this, it is a Vevor product which goes for a lot more money on other sites. The inlet and outlet are correct, so don't let that stop you from getting this very well built product! It is a simple install if you're handy, depending on your existing system pipe size, you may need some reduction adapters, other than that, it's normal PVC plumbing work. This replaced a 100 sq ft filter and so far we haven't had to clean it but my wife took it apart to clean the filters anyway and needed my help to get the clamp reinstalled, once I showed her how she did it. You need to understand the concept of how the clamp works, it does not need to be smoking tight gorilla torqued on, the clamp inner surfaces are angled to provide a positive force on the angled case mounting surfaces, the more you tighten the clamp bolt, the more the clamp moves to provide the force to keep it in place and not leak. The clamp will engage much easier if you lightly tap around the entire perimeter and you will re tighten the bolt, I'm sure this is why some have said it blew apart and I'm also sure it's not in the directions, trust me this is how it should be done everything time. Overall, quick shipping, arrived with no damage, great quality filter, replacement filters are readily available for when it's time, and right now we're very happy with it and the extended cleaning periods it will provide. Be sure to order some food grade 100% silicone grease or lubricant for oring seals and threaded surfaces, it makes disassembly and reassembly easy. There is the seal/oring on the main case, and two seals/orings on the threaded quick disconnect adapters for the inlet and outlet pipes. We did lubricate the inner clamp surface as well, and when you do install the clamp, use a mallet, brass hammer, or other small non marking hammer to LIGHTLY tap the clamp around the perimeter to ensure it is fully engaged, and when removing the clamp you may need to again LIGHTLY tap the ends of two halves to assist in removing it. If anything changes, I will update my very positive review but for now this seems,to be a good quality product at a fraction of the name brand products and IMO a much better designed product as the top has built in handles to assist removing the upper case too. I have tried to give some additional information to assist with the installation and operation which probably should be provided by the manufacturer which would greatly benefit the end user.
