Not Made For Veterans But Still Great
This Starter is much more geared towards learning players than Phandelver was. it is well worth the campaign, minis and dice (seriously love the dice) but it is not as deep or as branching as the Lost Mines of Phandelver was. With that much needed disclaimer made, it is great for learning players and the quality of everything included surpasses that of previous Starter Sets. The dice are beautiful, though it does not include a percentile die (5e doesn't utilize that one) and the figures are better than I expected. The adventure book is actually bound and not just stapled and the entire aesthetic is very pleasing. I am a veteran player and DM and am satisfied with my purchase. This campaign works well as a filler module for a party looking for a simple job or a one night mini shot for when you can't get the party together. 10/10

We bought this to share an old hobby with our children and we love it. It comes ready to go instead of you having to make all the stats yourself. It is a good starter set for someone who has not played before. We love the art work and books in it.
