not for everyone, may not hold what all it claims

directions werent the clearest, but once you sort out which pieces are what (the scale of the plans to the actual product do NOT match up, and the biggest board besides the base looked like a tall rectangle in the photo but was a wide rectangle in reality, and without actually labelling the pieces the way the nuts n bolts are, then it was hard to decipher at first) and then instead of having the directions all in one booklet theres an extra page insert that is supposed to help with step 1 and 2, but if you dont see the seperate piece of paper youll spend a bit trying to get the legs from step 1 on correctly without stripping a bolt) after sorting out the small issues with the instructions that although small were very frustrating... then it was pretty easy but the mounting kit it came with for the television didnt seem able to hold as much as it claims, it boasts a 150 lb limit but id suggest nothing more than 50. it says 70 some inch tv? id say the 43 is about the most id trust on this base if you intend to ever move it, but if you're not putting the rollers on it might withstand a heavier set without being likely to tip over. this is not for everyone, if you're looking for solid furniture thats going to last longer than your lease, you may want to keep shopping, i have a very awkward feeling this will only last as long as the lease for my apartment, but if you buy it with that in mind, then yeah its great, if you buy it thinking it can hold 150 lbs, and a 74 or whatever inch TV like it CLAIMS, THEN I PERSONALLY think you'll wish that your tv had the protection plan on it... havent had a tipover yet, but it almost did when mounitng the tv and when trying to move it into place on a flat cement floor.
