DuraFlex Low-E Patio Door Regular Height - Large Pet Opening

What’s so special about Duraflex Pet Doors? Only Duraflex pet doors use our innovative rare earth, point magnet sealing system. Strong point magnets are spaced along the entire periphery of the flap. Mating magnets are placed in floating seals within the door frame to perfectly mate with the flap and provide a 100% air-tight seal. Wind blowing against the flap must work against all magnets to open it requiring a great deal of force. However, the nose first approach of a pet needs only to break the seal of two magnet pairs to begin opening the flap, then the magnets are separated one pair at a time as your pet moves through the opening, allowing a minimum of pet-generated force to open the flap. Magnets in the flap are mounted behind a soft neoprene rubber strip. Mating magnets in the door frame are mounted behind industrial felt. This rubber to felt seal provides a strong, smooth and quite closure that won’t leak a bit of air! Duraflex patio doors remain air-tight and draft-free even in winds of up to 50 mph while still being easy to open for any dog or cat. DOUBLE PANE, LOW-E GLASS: The Duraflex door assembly comes mounted in our heavy gauge aluminum frame with double pane, Low E glass for the most energy efficient patio pet door made. While other patio panels are typically less than ½” thick, Duraflex patio door frames use vertical rails that are a full 7/8” thick and formed of 14-gauge extruded aluminum for the most rigid pet door panels you can buy. The patio frame comes in two sections for easy handling and assembly. Assembly is simple, quick and easy, typically taking less than one hour of installation time. Each unit is shipped with full weather stripping and draft stopper seals to keep the patio frame as airtight as the amazing flap. UNIVERSAL LOCK: Like all High Tech Pet patio panels, Duraflex patio panels feature a universal lock that easily mates to most patio doors. Installation requires that you drill 2 small holes for mounting a lock hasp on the edge of your sliding door. The holes are barely noticeable should you ever remove the lock hasp. The heavy-duty frame comes in two easily assembled pieces making it easy to remove from its shipping box and easier to handle during assembly. There is also an additional foot lock for additional security when you are away. GREATER HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT Duraflex patio frames also feature an adjustable top panel that accommodates most standard sliding glass frame heights. Regular height models provide a full 5-inch adjustment to fit sliding glass door tracks from 75” to 80 1/4“ high. Tall models give you a 3.25" height range to fit tracks from 92.75" to 96" high. Our unique side mount height lock eliminates the unsightly lock knobs seen on most other sliding glass pet doors. The heavy-duty frame mounts snugly into your patio track for a secure, tamper-proof installation. Flap sizes are available in Medium, Large and Extra Large for dogs under 5 lbs to over 150 lbs.
