Who am I? What is my purpose in the world?
At some point in time in our lives, we all question or doubt who we are supposed to be in this world. In other words, we question our identity-our very being. From our identity, we receive our purpose and have a connection to our why. Knowing our identity gives us direction and provides a foundation upon which we can build and create a life. One component of identity is our name or what we are called. Every name carries with it a meaning or a purpose; therefore, what we are called is synonymous with our purpose. For that reason, the devil relentlessly tries to keep us ignorant of what God has called us. Widespread false truths and deceptions aim to keep us out of the will of God and bound under insecurity, depression, and fear. John 8:32 says that knowing the truth sets us free; therefore, we must get knowledge of the truth of God's Word to no longer be bound by the devil's tactics. We will be able to live out our purpose in accordance with the truth.
