These smell clean and fresh. Some air fresheners give me a headache. These did not give me a headache. When I screwed off the cap, there was some of the liquid that got on my hand. When I got to work, I was told I smelled good. When I got home, I was greeted with a very pleasant smell from the air freshener. it did smell good. These cost a lot less than the name brands, and these fit the name brand adapters. I would recommend these if you want a good smelling house.
