70mm Aperture Refractor Telescope for Adults & Kids, 300mm Beginner Astronomy Telescope with Tripod, Phone Adapter & Mini Binoculars

Great beginner telescope! TLDR - Overall, a great starter telescope. I really appreciate the portability with the carrying case and having a phone adapter.  Definitely will take on my next trip to darker skies. I purchased on sale and also received quickly--fast delivery. The telescope comes with a nice carrying case with some additional padding to separate the telescope from the tripod.  All the eyepieces and other accessories come in another smaller zippered bag. Setup was super easy and the included instructions are helpful (although it's pretty self-explanatory). The tripod mount has multiple levers to tighten and secure the telescope and also helps to keep steady observation. This is also helpful when using higher magnification due to the earth's rotation and the movement of the stars. The finderscope also helps to find/track objects. The telescope comes with two eyepieces as well as a 3x barlow lens for further magnification. It was easier for me to use the finderscope with a lower magnification and then switch to add the higher magnification eyepiece and/or the Barlow lens. So far I've used this to look at Venus and Jupiter. Still too far away for much detail of the planet itself, but you can get a much better sense of the color of the planets.  I could faintly see one of Jupiter's moons with the highest magnification from my suburban neighborhood.   Also includes a smartphone adapter which fits your phone overtop the eyepiece for photos.  I haven't yet gotten a photo of the full moon (currently waning), but excited to try that.  Definitely a great start telescope to get a closer view of the night sky. Excited to keep using this telescope!
