Philips 7000 Series Pasta Maker, White

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It takes all the work out of the process. I purchased Italian semolina flour and I'm very happy with the taste and texture of the finished pasta. I also enjoy having 6 options of different pasta types with the attachments that came with it. Great way to make a healthier pasta! I also used it to mix bread dough.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Okay, so I've had this machine about 6 weeks now, and I'm more enthusiastic about it than when it first arrived. It produces very consistent results, requires exactly zero expertise on my part, and cleans up in literally minutes. I take it off the shelf and put it on the counter (this is the hardest part of the entire procedure), measure in the specified amount of whatever flour I'm using (recipes included for many many options), turn the little guy on, push the "Auto" button, add the specified amount of water, and wait (about 3 minutes or so) for pasta to come out. Really. That's it. The parts that need cleaning are all dishwasher safe, but they're so easy to clean I don't bother with the dishwasher. It's almost faster to clean them in the sink than it is to put them in the dishwasher. Only the shaper head is a bit fiddly to clean, but if you allow it to dry thoroughly even that pops clean with a couple of pokes with the provided cleaning tool. I'm thinking of going Oriental and making some rice noodles. (Yes, recipes included).
