Awesome fishing rod!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've owned many Ugly Stiks over the years and I really like this one above all. The extra length is amazing, this thing is 9'6"! You can launch a lure out there a long way with this rod. I was a little concerned with the action because of its length but I was surprised that it performed just as well as my others. Ugly Stik definitely stood up to its name. I used a Shakespeare open reel on this, worked wonders and a great combo. Color design on the rod also matches the functionality with sleek look and nice color combination. I highly recommend it to someone looking for a longer reaching rod.

lightweight & great grip while casting

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This rod is on the longer side of traditional rods. It feels lightweight when casting and has decent sensitivity, I could feel my lure dragging across the water while reeling. I paired it up with a shimmono 4k reel for decent line length.

Really nice rod

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this rod free from Influenster and Ugly Stick for my honest review. The rod was easy to assemble, very lightweight and has good sensitivity and control. It is a long rod at 9' 6" long but it breaks down for easy storage and transportation. I highly recommend this rod, not only is strong and functional but also beautiful.
