Great for a waxed/tin coat!

Got this as an alternative to a much more pricey Carhart w/the intention of waxing it. The canvas is thick enough and tightly woven enough to take a lot more of my wax solution than I expected. 2lb wax (I used 1 lb paraffin, 1 lb bees), 2C mineral oil gently melted down- via nighthawkinlight on YT. No fumes, works great. Only thing I wish I'd done differently is to was and dry it before applying. I was over eager. Still worked great though.

Great jacket

I'm 6'2" and weigh 260. I ordered the XL size and it fits perfectly. I treated it with Kiwi waterproof spray and have worked out in the rain a couple of times and have stayed completely dry. It has kept me warm on many 20 degree mornings. The only negative is the interior pocket is too small for my liking. It will hold a pair of glasses but not a cell phone. I would definitely buy one again if I needed it.
