Great perfume but a bad bottle

I love the smell of the perfume! It is not too lite or strong. It also lasts for a while. The one problem though is the bottle. When you pull the top off that covers the sprayer it comes off and the metal part connected to the bottle comes off. I can't attach the top back. The metal part is attached back to the bottle and the sprayer is back on but I just have to set the top on and not try to attach it. That is my only issue. They need to do better on the bottle.

Problems with bottle top.

I have used this parfum for years and love it. However, when I received it, the top does not work properly. The black lid is attached to the silver part that is supposed to stay on the bottle. Very inconvenient to use. What happened?
