The assembly took a bit more time and effort than we expected, but as long as you follow the instructions patiently, you can manage it alone. Of course, having 2 people to put it together is even better. It looks really beautiful in the bedroom! The drawers are larger than I imagined, and they open and close very smoothly. 5 drawers are more than enough for categorizing and storing all kinds of odds and ends.
