I tried this product out in the elements, 3D , lightweight sculptures. The backing is somewhat of a pain to separate. Once you have both sides sticky, I pulled it a bit to stretch to use less tape. Its adherence to the PVC fence, so far so good, we were able to remove and reposition easily, although some required a new piece of tape .
