This turn signal kit isn't my first rodeo with the Kemimoto brand. Everything that we've ordered related to our Defender from Kemimoto has been top-shelf high quality, constructed well and works great. So we already had good expectations about this kit even before I installed it.Speaking of installation, it's pretty easy if you have experience with golf cart parts. Easy wiring, not any problems with it once it was all set up. Good brightness for proper visibility. Where we live out in the country, it's typical that we use golf carts for visiting neighbors, or even just other family members on our land. The price isn't low, but the value for what you get at that price is high.
The wiring was straightforward, and there was no splicing, so installation on my Defender was easy. The connectors were compatible with the factory harnesses, so everything clicked together, with components being firmly anchored in place and no chance of contacting other components. The turn signals were bright enough to be seen in daylight, and the self-cancelling function worked great.The controls gave a similar feel/feedback to a typical automotive arrangement, including the horn, which gave enough volume to be useful without being obnoxious. The fitment to the dash looked neat, with the switches sitting flush and the lights blending into the existing interior. Overall quality/count of hardware included and wiring done ahead of time, the overall feel of the build and utility gave significant value compared to piecing together a custom setup.
