These work well!

I have 3 of these and will soon get more. My wife and I live off grid and off road about an hour's drive from Homer Alaska (where we park). We have solar panels, a generator, and sometimes charge these batteries in town. One stopped working soon after we bought it, walmart let us return it and even refunded the shipping. We got another that works fine.

2nd CHINS battery I bought. Excellent value, product and delivery. Only 25 /- lbs. I have used the first one for a trolling motor, furnace backup for winter and freezer backup. It will run the furnace for about 30 hrs. The 2nd one will now run the fridge during outages. VERY IMPORTANT: These batteries MUST be charged with a lithium charger. Highly recommend.

Delivers promised charge capacity but keep it warm

The Chins 100 AH battery was offered at very good price for 2023 Black Friday.. I checked and found that Will Prowse, DIY Solar had purchased and tested this battery. Following info is based on Prowse's testing: Testing showed that the battery can absorb at least 75 Amps for charging (BMS rated 100 A) and after a full charge was able to deliver 104 AH. Internal construction of the battery tested was quite good. The greatest shortcoming is the apparent lack of internal low temperature charge cutoff. Charging a frozen battery is likely to cause permanent damage. I plan to use the battery where it will be kept warm, so I can live with that.
