Sturdy bed: but.... Took 12 hours to assemble. Missing some screws so had to make a trip a hardware store. Some pieces were missing stickers, so extra headache when assembling. Older kids 9 will have a hard time squeezing between beds and climbing the narrow stairs. Your room has to be a minimum of 13 x 12 ft in order to assemble and provide maneuvering room. I had to cut additional bed rafters so mattresses won't sink. I honestly think I could have built a better bed myself.
