I absolutely was sold on them being Glass %26 NOT Plastic. I like the smoky grey of the glass pillars as that is the contemporary trend in lighting fixtures that really is appealing to me. The 3rd thing I like is the actual wax glow in the candle column that give it even more realism along with flicker. The batteries are lasting incredibly long!
