The Mission of Jesus: Triumph of God's Kingdom in a World in Chaos consists of five episode lessons, that are each approximately half an hour in length (total run time of approximately two and a half hours). This DVD continues the popular "That the World May Know" series by Ray Van Der Laan which has been a huge success as it has helped walk people through the Bible and helped them to understand the locations and settings where the bible took place.

Lesson One - Capernaum: Jesus Binds The Evil One

The first lesson in The Mission of Jesus: Triumph of God's Kingdom in a World in Chaos, titled "Capernaum: Jesus Binds The Evil One" focuses on Jesus' teaching ministry. Jesus, the hinge point of God's story, left heaven and was born in a dirty stable. Both man and God, he worked many miracles, and his heart for mankind touched many lives. It was in Capernaum, however, that large amounts of his teaching took place. In The Mission of Jesus: Triumph of God's Kingdom in a World in Chaos, viewers will travel with Ray Vander Lann to Capernaum and the Sea of Galilee. Using stunning imagery of these two locations as they appear today, as well as "flashbacks" so to speak, to Jesus' time, viewers will be introduced to Jesus' teaching. They will come to understand the effects of this teaching, as they come to understand the first-century context in which it took place.
