Beyond Impressed
Ordered the 12'x14' size. Item came in as advertised, and fast! 1 out of the 7 boxes that was delivered did have some damage to it and after opening the box one of the legs did come with a dented area. I was under a tight deadline to get it installed so I couldn't wait for a replacement (or whatever the company would do to resolve it). Overall the structure seems pretty solid. I just close one eye when I have to walk past that damage leg.
Beautiful Product, Well engineered!
After almost a month, we have had plenty of rain, and surprisingly, it is more waterproof than I thought. It stays dry underneath in a pretty heavy rain so far. The whole things made of aluminum with stainless steel hardware, so no worries about rust. The painted steel plates at the corners look sturdy too. With some upkeep, I am confident this will last at least 10 years, especially if we keep the slats clear of leaves and such.
It fits my needs
This pergola is great. I have a east-facing patio and was looking for something to provide some shade. I considered some of the sail cloth triangle things but didn't want to disturb my patio with new footings and big poles. Once I found this I did some research and this was great value. It helps me shade from the sun, and I can also rest in pergola, which is the place I spend the most time and I really like it.
