The Foam Cervical Collar with Vinyl Strap helps relieve neck pain and discomfort by providing moderate support and stability for the head and neck. This collar is ideal for chronic neck pain, sports injuries, or whiplash injuries. Made from 1" polyurethane foam covered with a 100% cotton stockinette cover, this support is comfortable against the skin. A vinyl strap is attached to the collar below the chin notch to provide additional support. This collar is easy to adjust and contoured for comfort. Wearing a foam cervical collar for chronic neck pain or following a neck injury provides beneficial proprioceptive feedback to provide a gentle reminder to limit head and neck motions that may cause pain. Made in the USA and contains no latex.

Great for Sleep
I use one of these because I sleep in a recliner chair and this keeps my head upright. That way, I don't wake up in the morning with a kink in my neck. It works well on planes too. I wish they came in black, or perhaps other colors like some other brands of sleep collars. Otherwise, great product that fits well when you get the right size.

What I expected
Works great. I use it when my neck spasms up. Seems to provide good support and a chance for muscles to relax again. I use it off and on for activities I know will aggravate neck muscles to provide extra support.
