Package arrived UPS in excellent condition. Set is clearly stamped 1810. Further my review IS NOT PART OF A PAID PROMOTION. The set is stunning. I love the contrast of high polish upper and malted bottoms. Set glistens like diamonds, no kidding. Like fine jewels you are asked to register your set. Also while high polished, the handles do not show prints, another plus.Brillant design. Regarding weight, I would say medium. Nice feel in hand. If you buy any set of JA Henckels buy from Zwilling .I would love to buy another 24 piece set in another design. This set I consider contempory while other sets i feel are ultra comtempory. Next set will ultra. No kidding, be ready for blinding light when you open that kitchen draw. My advice buy from Zwilling
