Purchased a pair of these a week ago. Took size 7. For comparison my Converse are always 7,5. Wearing it full shift. So far breaking in is going pretty well and not that painful at all.

I expected a break-in period but these blacksmiths were comfortable out of the box. Soft but supportive and the fit was perfect for me. No chafing, roomy but not loose. The traction was good even in wet weather. And they are fine to wear even during hot and humid days where I live. Chose the copper rough and tough because I think the look is so classic and understated. Love the versatility as well. Can use them with just about every pair of pants and (even shorts) in my closet. I wear them almost everyday and feel they'll stand up to all the walking I do. Well worth the price and looking forward to picking up more Red Wing boots down the line.
