New RC-914R replace remote control fit for Pioneer AV Receiver VSX-LX302 SC-LX501 SC-LX502

The RC-914R remote control from MAXCONTROL Inc. is best described as a Twin of the Original Pioneer RC-914R remote control. The remote would in fact be considered an Identical Twin if it were not for a few subtle differences, such as the color of the Power Button, the Bolder Label on the Volume rocker and the absense of the Pioneer name on the bottom of the remote. The remote control case is the same shape, size and design of the originall with one slight difference which is the location and size of its infrared sensor. The infrared sending unit is located closer to the top edge of the remote and it protrudes slightly beyond the protective plastic case. The overall operation of the RC-914R remote control is best decribed as flawless. My Pioneer VSX-LX101 A/V Receiver immediately responds to a single press of every button on the remote control. And like the original the remote is powered by two AAA batteries. Shipping, I placed my order on 12/11/25 and the remote arrived on 12/17/25. It was shipped vis US Mail and fortunately it arrived undamaged., despite the fact that the shipping envelope lacked a protective bubble wrap interior. Due to the fact that I have had the remote for less than three months, I cannot fairly rate the units overall battery performance/life.
