I wouldn't have purchased this brush because I've been buying some of the Soft Collection Brushes. This was a free gift with purchase. I washed it before using it, as I do with all new brushes. It dried and retained its shape. I used it to set my face with a loose setting powder and also with a finishing powder. This brush felt good on my sensitive skin. The loose and pressed powders applied smoothly and evenly. I am a fan of this brush.
