I was unsure of what to expect when I ordered these scissors. They are fantastic! They look cool and they are cool. So sharp and of quality construction. Holding them is easy and comfortable. Do be careful however, they are heavy and sharp. Maybe no wine while using these for preparing a meal. Just sayin. I don't really see any "safety" features as the words to consider using are listed. I would not recommend them for "lettuce" but most kitchen chores they would be suited for. They are so heavy that I don't trust them to stay attached to my knife magnet.

Kitchen scissors Heavy Duty!
These scissors are made of stainless steel. I always wanted to have at least a pair of them in my kitchen. Seems like a lot of my friends and relatives gave a pair. They really seem heavy duty and both have a 4 inch blade on them. Lots of times I am having to cut food bags open and other items and there are still a lot of companies that don’t have easy tear open packages and then able to re-seal them to put away left overs for another time. And I hate dragging out my regular scissors. As who knows what it was last used for? The blades are really sharp, so if U have young children or grand children like me, keep them in a safe place, no borrowing to do paper cutting and coloring stuff . I am excited to try them out on snow crab and king crab to see how well they cut the shells apart. And I would think they will work good when you take the shells off shrimp too. They say they are tough enough to cut bones too. I haven’t tried that yet but might mess when I debone chicken for soup. They have lots of different and odd shapes on each scissor, so will have to see what else they can help open up in the kitchen. Some of my kids have those big blocks in there kitchens for knives and usually a scissor too, but these look and feel so heavy duty. I am thinking they would be a great holiday gift for my daughter’s kitchens. They just seem kind of cool!
