N64 Game Mortal Kombat 4

The plot revolves around the revenge of the fallen elder god Shinnok on the heavens and earth, and is a crucial chapter in the series that connects the past and the future. 

Ancient grudges: Thousands of years ago, Elder God Sinnock intended to cause chaos and was defeated by another Elder God Raiden and sealed in the Nethererealm. 

The trigger for escape: Before the first Mortal Kombat Tournament in 1992, the first generation of Sub Zero helped wizard Quan Chi obtain a talisman containing the power of Sinnock at his request. This laid the groundwork for Sinnock's escape. 

Revenge begins: The main storyline takes place in 1997, two years after Shao Kahn's failed attempt to seize the Earth domain. Guanqi allied with Sinnock and helped him escape from the Void Kingdom. With the assistance of the Edenia traitor Tanya, they invaded the heavens and killed most of the gods. Only Thunder and Wind God Fujin survived. 

Hero Gathering: Thunder and Fujin gathered warriors from the Earth realm (including Liu Kang, Sonia, Johnny Cage, and other heroes from previous competitions) to fight against the evil alliance of Sinnock and Guanqi. The ancient feud between gods ultimately needs to be decided by mortals.
