Columbia Women's Petite Saturday Trail II Convertible Pant, Olive Green, 16

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the new design with the fitted leg style. My old zip off pants have wide legs with lots of fabric and it seemed like they were always catching on the trail shrubbery. The only downside is that the zippered part of the leg is a little snug around my upper knee area, but did not inhibit my movement on the trail. By the end of the day, I did not notice the snugness. I purchased size 2. I am 5' 8" and 118 lbs. Hips are 35.

I read the numerous reviews about these pants before I bought them. Most of them said the zipper rubs again the thighs during walking and climbing. I went ahead and bought them because I needed some convertible pants for a hiking excursion in Utah Canyons. I bought the black because I felt they would go with everything. I love them, they are light weight, very comfortable and although I did feel the zipper rubbing again my thighs it was not uncomfortable. This is why I gave them only 4 stars. I have worn them on hikes where it rained and snowed and they are water repellant. I would highly recommend them!
