Delicious and filling!
I've eaten all three new 40g protein egg bowl flavors since they recently came out. I enjoyed having different flavor options compared to regular meat, cheese, egg bowls they have. The Zesty one has a little less kick to it from the Chipotle bowl, and the other is similar to their regular bowl. All three have a nice bold flavor in the meats and individual spices. There are some jalapenos in them, so people leaving comments about unwarned spice clearly didn't read the "Zesty/Chipotle" title or ingredients first. I genuinely think the only issue is how much cheese are in these. That is why these only get 4/5 stars from me. Half the amount would do the trick, and I think that's why some reviews say "mush" or "grease." Once stirred, it looks just like the photos. It is on the mush side, but I'm used to that in my food. I love how much protein there is and NO WHEAT/GLUTEN! Perfect meal get through a long day.

We eat Jimmy Dean Breakfast sandwiches all the time. Tried this Zesty Monterrey Breakfast bowl to change up Breakfast. Cooks quickly. Just the right amount for breakfast. But...horribly, horribly, horribly salty!! I don't know if this was just a random one off awful salty anomaly?? But as cooked, this time it was just salt taste. Heavy salt taste. So, maybe just a mistake during the packaging process, etc. This is the only reason I gave it 4 out of 5. If uou are on a low sodium diet...I just would be very mindful that it could possibly be an issue.

Some of the eggs were nice and fluffy like 3 pieces. It really just looked like a watery overly cheesy slop. The bacon bits are extremely tiny. There are a lot of them but some are just super chewy and not very good. It was randomly spicy and not flavored spicy just hot, like every other bite was either not spicy or super spicy. This was my second time purchasing this new high protein breakfast bowl line, the regular ones are usually at least edible, but I couldn't finish this one nor the first one I tried. I have one more in my freezer and I'm not expecting much and I'm even tempted to throw it away because I don't know if it's worth the experiment after the first two I tried. Very disappointed in this product. I was really excited to try these. They looked good. I usually love Jimmy Dean, but they have been disappointing and unusually watery for some reason.
