BLACK+DECKER 20V MAX* Cordless Resin Blade Trimmer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, this is a great trimmer for a small yard that can also double as an edger. Having owned a previous version of the string trimmer, it was great to see some of the updates for this model. First, the battery is slightly smaller, but 1 more AH than my current battery. The storage for the blades in the handle works really well, though the Allen wrench can be a bit challenging to remove. Switching between trimming and edging mode by rotating the head is extremely easy and the telescoping shaft works well. If you're taller than 6"2', you might find it a little short. Swapping heads is easier than I thought it would be, you simply undo a small screw. Finally, the edging mode works well, especially once the edge is established. If you have hard soil and need to define the edge, you may want to loosen the dirt up with small shovel or use the string trimer part first.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has excellent battery life to trim our large yard. We are constantly clearing overgrowth along our main road and throughout my gardens. This is a small bit mighty machine. My only complaint is if you don't tighten the midline adjustments really tight it vibrates quite a bit. See green arrow in the photo where I'm referencing. Cut through thick weeds effortlessly.
