I appreciate the structure, and unlike other reviewers, have had no problem getting them on and off. Given the structure, you may want to use a shoe horn; it's that simple. They are handsome and not sloppy like other ankle-height slippers

I love these booties! They are warm and very comfortable. Some have said they wished they had a loop on the back to help pull them on, I know what the mean but there is a very strong "heel piece" in the back and I'm able to just slide my foot into them. I'm really happy with these booties.
