Product details
Protect skin with 3M Reston cast padding. Devices that are firm and involve hard plastics can be a detriment to the patient's skin, possibly causing an infection with no padding. This white foam padding separates casts, braces, splints, or boots from the skin x wrapping around the patient's limb and serving as an inner layer. The comfortable, lightweight padding ensures that injuries heal regularly without developing additional irritation or sores. The pad works even if the user is wearing another pad or bandage with the orthopedic device. Cut the 7 7/8 x 11 3/4 in sheets and shape them to fit any site and save unused portions for later. Since the foam cast padding is self-adherent, users do not need any additional tape. Alternatively, this light padding helps protect beds and chair cushions as the self-adherent backing sticks to upholstery without damaging it.
