Lucy the chihuahua approved!

I was so happy to find stairs for Lucy that were sturdy and didn't take up too much room. Other stairs I bought were foam and really did t help her. These are easy to set up, the stair covers help her get traction, and she is more confident going up and down on them because they don't wobble around. I like there is storage for her toys and towels.

Sturdy

"These steps are sturdy and very simple to put together. I read a review saying they aren't sturdy, so I decided to test them out. I weigh 173 pounds and stood on the first step without issue. I did not stand on the second step because of the cutout, but I sit on it to put on shoes and have not hade an issue. I bought these steps for my elderly cat and she actually uses them. She sometimes uses the carpet pad to scratch and stretch. I am thinking of buying another set to put in the spare room, under the window, so she can look out."

Finally my Shiba Inu has a place to stand other th

My shiba inu is obsessed with staring out the window and watching anything he can. The only problem is that he is too short to see over a small gate fence we have in the front yard. His solution was to stand on whoever's chest happens to be sitting in the chair by the window. If you know anything about Shiba Inus, you know that they are incredibly stubborn. No matter how many times you'd tell him to get off or put him back on the ground, he'd always get back up. I had been searching for stairs, a cat perch, anything that would give him something else other than a person to stand on but everything was just so expensive. Now I will admit this is honestly not the nicest looking thing and probably not the sturdiest but at this point I don't even care. He loves it and it works. He is on the smaller side but he plays hard. So far it has held up to him running and jumping on it, jumping off of it, falling off of it, and running into it. I'm still a little concerned about the top just popping off one day but it will do for now. While he can't fit inside the little house it is a great place to store his toys and he pulls them out through the doggy door. For what I spent, I am pleased with what I got.
