Adults and children 12 years of age and older: 1 tablet every 12 hours; not more than 2 tablets in 24 hours. Children under 12 years of age: do not use.
Instructions
Do not crush, chew, or break tablet. Take with a full glass of water. This product can be administrated without regard for timing of meals. When using this product, do not use more than directed. Ask a doctor before use if you have persistent or chronic cough such as occurs with smoking, asthma, chronic bronchitis, or emphysema. Ask a doctor before use if you have a cough accompanied by too much phlegm (mucus). Do not use for children under 12 years of age. Do not use if you are now taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug. If pregnant of breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use.

Guess I don't have much of an opinion on its effectiveness. I get an occasional bout of bronchitis which just seems to take time to run its course. I use WalMart generic instead of Mucinex because of the price, but not sure either one is all that effective - Given enough time, mother nature eventually takes care of it anyhow!
