Good bowl

Sturdy but there isn't a smooth lining so foods might soak in, I'd imagine cheese would stick. However, if you don't want any type of plastic when microwaving food, this looks like a good choice. Its probably bleached paper, so if that's a concern you might check it out. The bowls were sturdy, good in the microwave. I used them while on vacation to warm up food in hotel microwave.

Durable enough

Durable enough to hold lunch portion nachoes from the office microwave. The cheese stuck a bit and I ended up eating some of the bowl but that's a user error not a bowl defect. Compostable means fiber right?

These bowls are wonderful! Compost bowls are very heavy weight and do not soak up the reusable material. Worth the little more you have to pay for a reusable and sturdy product.
