I have had pain in the side of my foot, so my podiatrist recommended this product since my ankle seems to roll. I use it on long (3-5 miles) walks and on the elliptical. It helps keep my ankle lined up properly as well as reducing the pain from a strenuous work out. I would highly recommend this product. Works much better than any inserts I have been recommended.

These are excellent braces. Recently I've started using the side inserts, and found that they need a lot of modification to become comfortable. I've also experimented with tape on the outside, and the use of a lump (or a cupped disk) of tape inside the brace, against my ankle bone.
