Studies on Antifeedants from Meliaceae Family (Paperback)

The work describes the isolation of some tetranortriterpenoids from meliaceae family along with their characterization using NMR, Single crystal X-ray Diffraction studies etc. Chemical modifications of some selected molecules have been reported and the antifeedant activity of all molecules have been assayed against spodoptura litura.Finally, some insilico studies were carried out, which pointed to some molecular parameters (descriptors) that might be responsible for the antifeedant activity of these molecules
