INSTALLATION GUIDE
Step 1: Check Handlebar Compatibility: Ensure your handlebar diameter is 22mm. This throttle grip is compatible with most standard electric bikes and scooters.
Step 2: Remove the Old Grip: Gently remove the existing grip on the throttle side. You can use rubbing alcohol or warm water to make the process easier.
Step 3: Slide On the New Throttle Grip: Push the throttle grip onto the handlebar. Make sure the wire outlet is positioned downward or aligned with your bike’s cable routing.
Note: No screws or clamps are included. If your bike requires additional fasteners for a secure fit, please use existing components or obtain suitable parts separately.
Step 4: Connect the Wires: Match the throttle wires to your controller wires (yellow + white = electrical gate cable, black + green + red = throttle line). Use compatible connectors and insulate with electrical tape or heat shrink tubing.
Step 5: Test the Throttle: Turn on the power and gently twist the grip to ensure proper function. If it doesn't respond, check your wiring and ensure a tight connection.
Step 6: Final Check: Ensure the throttle rotates smoothly and returns to the neutral position when released. Adjust cable placement to prevent sticking.
