The material is excellent and a bit on the thick side. very comfortable and holds its shape. I am 5'6, 140 lb and I bought a medium. The only drawback is it's a tad short, I would have liked to ride a little lower on the ankle. on me, these are above the ankle. if I pull the pants to the normal waistline they're naturally longer. but I like to wear mine a little higher, so its a bit short for me.
