No Instructions come with this nice travel humidor

Delivery was faster than expected, however it came with no instructions for use. For example, the lid has a hydrometer, but it's dark no power although it has a button battery LR44 and on back next to one hole it states C/F (Cent/Fahrenheit?) and another hole says RH and RT (Rel. Humid. and Temp?) I assume use a penpoint to switch. Also, it comes with an unmarked bottle of a solution (possibly ethylene glycol or distilled water?), and a slotted tube in cellophane wrap the size of a cigar and has about 20 small clear beads inside it. Lastly there is a 6"x2.5" micro-thin strip of wood. I could experiment with these items, but not before I figure out how to turn on the hydrometer to check humidity
