Sakkas Mika Ombre Floral Caftan Dress - Brown / Cream - One Size

It isn't sheer, like it appears to be in the picture; I thought it would be a scratchy polyester; it's not---it's a silky, almost fleecy cotton material. It looks like it's gathered around the neck in the picture, and it's not. The material has just been rolled over and sewn, and very tightly, too. It looks like it's kind of a tie-dye, but it's kind an abstract snake-scaled pattern.The cap sleeves are a nice surprise; they are a sheer, crinkled polyester with embroidery on them, edged in narrow, crocheted lace.I am 5'61/2" inches, so this comes halfway between my knees and ankles.The garment doesn't look like a caftan or a Mother Hubbard, which is what I was afraid it would look like. It's very pretty, breezy and floaty, something nice to wear to the grocery store or evening church services, with a lacy shawl. It would also be nice to sit around in on your patio.Ladies, if you are 5 foot nothing and a size 00, this will be a tent. If you are six foot and lanky, it'll come to your knees. It might be a good pool coverup. If you are 20 women's size and up, it won't be big enough.Wash it in cold water, squeeze out the excess with a microfiber towel, pull it gently with your hands to stretch it by holding it in both hands and pull as far as you can to make sure that it doesn't shrink up as it dries and then hang it up. It dries pretty fast.All in all, it doesn't look like the picture at all, but it's going to be a lot more comfortable than I thought it would be.

The skirt of this dress is very full. It is well made, has French seams, and lace cap sleeves. The dress is perfect for an evening at the beach, or for Florida where I live. It is made for the summertime or a cruise. You will feel both comfortable and pretty when you wear this Sakkas dress.
