This stegosaurus is AWESOME! I wasn't sure about the materials used but the fabric is very soft, sort of like a velour. The colors are vibrant and just as bold in reality as in the photo. The spines on the top are of a flannel type material so while they look vicious are totally harmless. There are little bumps aside the spines that are rounded and soft too. The feet on this guy are detailed and make it look so much better. There are inlays of fabric in the leg and thigh regions to show definition--good sign of quality workmanship. I love the colors, so complimentary and appealing. The 15" size is probably accurate but it does seem a bit smaller due to the shape of the dinosaur. The eyes on stegosaurus are creepily realistic. It looks like they are looking at you. This would be a safe toy little ones and is so soft to touch. Great workmanship and colors.
