The cushioning and support of this stair is very good. It doesn’t stay put on hard wood floor. Slides around so that part stated on ad isn’t true. My dog is only 11 pounds and when she runs up the stair it slides. My poor girl fell. So if you get this find something to keep it from sliding. Other than that the stair is good, great foot rest also.
