The build was extremely difficult because the directions are poorly made. Many of the pictures fail to show when certain pieces should be facing a specific direction, causing you to disassemble and reassemble entire sections to reverse something. On top of that, my product had multiple defective screws and threading that caused me to assemble the whole frame without two separate screws. Now when the bed shifts toward one corner that is missing a screw, you hear a loud crack in the wood, making me concerned for the overall integrity of the frame.
