1. Install the correct size adapter and tighten to it does not leak. Place the gasket facing down.
2. Your car should be off, do not the car! Fill the coolant funnel about 1/3 full when it is cold so that when the system burps, liquid fall into the system instead of more air.
3. Go to your car and set the climate control setting (or heat setting) to hot, but make sure the fan/heater is on "off".
4. Now your car and let the car idle for a while until it is hot enough to open the thermostat and turn on the fan. After waiting, once the thermostat opens to cool your engine, You see the coolant level drop and some to a lot of appear, this is air escaping from your cooling system.
5. After an hour of standard operation, if you still see out, check the overflow tank and make sure there is coolant in it.
The fluid level should be low when the engine is running. Keep the RPM at idle. (If you find that the fluid level has too much, turn off the engine. Wait for the fluid level to drop before restarting the engine.)
After the stop, use the liquid plug to plug the remaining liquid in the funnel.
