Long serrated blade for slicing large crusty breads . this serrated blade is ideal for piercing tough exteriors while gliding through the soft interiors. No squishing!! Beautifully crafted in the Asian style, yet durable and hard western steel. Best of both worlds. I like to use this knife for slicing watermelon, honey dew and cantaloupe. Classic three rivet handle is very comfortable to hold.

This bread knife has a very sharp serration that easily bites into any tough bread crust and cuts through the soft inside with one stroke. Also works great on baked goods and cakes. Long and light weight this knife is easy to handle and feels very comfortable in the hand.

Great bread knife

This is a great Japanese-German bread knife. I really like the feel of the handle on this blade, it's very comfortable and contours nicely. The blade has a nice lighter weight to it. This is a great intro knife collection if you want to go from Western style knives to Asian; the Morimoto collection merges the two styles together, with having a durable German steel but styled as a thin and sharp Asian blade. A great bread knife, perfect for slicing bread, citrus, and meats easily without tearing.
