I bought this as a birthday present for my son his birthday is in Dec. so he won't get to use it until spring. I checked it out when it arrives and it has 2 different tips, it's a 6' 2 piece so it'll be easy for him to use with his kayak. It's not top of the line but it is a IM6 graphite blank rod which is good.
