Why, because it looks nice. Problem is 1 of 2 threaded holes stripped at less than the required 12 psi of torque. Have to drill it because it's installed and would cost several hundred in gaskets and a lot of my time to pull

Very disappointed coming from Edelbrock

Received this in the mail day before yesterday was expecting better product since it was coming from Edelbrock finish was very poor as far as the casting and just looks extremely cheap! Would not recommend
