Great Free-Standing or Cage-Attachable H20 Bottle

I bought this product for a friend's mice and hamster. He loves it in that it resolves the problem of having to affix a water bottle to the side of a cage. It is a self-standing water-bottle, and it is perfect balanced. There is even a hidey-hole in the back of the thing so that small rodents can have a rest or take a peep out. The side-dish is small but perfectly sized for treats. It is easy to assemble. Be sure to check the liter size on the bottle, however, as the manufacturer offers two (2) different sizes. As rodent owners, we have both found that one drawback is that clever hamsters and mice like to scale water-bottles to access the tops of their cages, enabling escapes, so: As with any water-bottle, it's important to secure the top of your cage to ensure your pet can't get out. Other than that, this is a perfect water-bottle at a great price-point/value! To avoid the increased chance of cage/habitat-escape, simply use a water-dish, instead. Take it from us: Rodent habitats HAVE TO BE made escape-proof by their owners!
