This is great, and I wish I had bought one sooner! It's so much more convenient than hauling out my vacuum for the pet hair removal like I've been doing. It does a great job at cleaning up the fur on my couch and comforter, which are the two spots that get the worst in my house. In the pictures below I picked some of the worst spots on the day I would usually vacuum to really put this thing to the test. This tool will make it easy enough for me to do the pet hair removal more often than I have been doing. My only issue is most likely a personal one, but I wanted to mention it for others who have a lot of static in their homes during the winter. My house has a lot of static despite running a humidifier, and when I was using this on the heavily covered spots it would propel some of the loose fur up and away from the spot I was cleaning. However, if I do this more often with less hair built up it may be less of an issue. If there's a lot of hair you'll need to clean the end off several times, so keep a small trashcan nearby or be prepared to make a pile and clean it up after. My dog is a spitz breed and sheds like crazy. His outer coat is very stiff and gets stuck in the fabric on my couch and comforter easily. This wand doesn't get all of those stubborn ones out, but neither did my vacuum. Usually I have to pull them out by hand, because they're like little needles that get shoved in deep and get stuck there. I do not have a lot of carpet in my house, but it did work well on my carpet when I tested as well. Most likely I'll still use the vacuum for my few carpetted areas, but I could see myself using this occasionally as a spot check between vacuuming if I need to push it off a bit.

I received this item in exchange for my review. This hair removal tool is the cats meow, or in my case, the dogs bark. When I bought my sofa, my dog thought it was her new dog bed. She is an older Great Pyrenees so what can I say? Her joints are older. She should be comfortable. So I made some waterproof slipcovers. And the fabric I chose is an absolute hair magnet! When I want to wash them, I hesitate because I dont want the hair going through my washer. This tool changes everything! It quickly and easily picked up all the hair from the slipcovers. At first I thought, well, you have to clean it. But there is a trick to it. When you pull it towards you, it picks up hair. But if you brush in the opposite direction, pushing it away from you, it rolls any hair on the tool into a tube shape that can easily be plucked off in one piece....as I show in the picture. I definitely recommend this hair remover.
